When Angy and Jarvis, two doctors in Alabama, first came to us, they wanted to fuse her Northern sensibilities with some of the feel of their new hometown in the South. It was important for them that Jarvis’ family feel a bit of Southern hospitality when they came up to New York for the wedding. The result was a spectacular ceremony in historic Riverside church performed by their family pastor and equipped with Gospel choir. Double Decker buses shuttled family and friends downtown to their amazing reception site under the 59th street bridge where we designed a fantasy garden look that brought the outdoors in. And for a signature drink? The Alabama Slammer, of course!
